Emmett Davis (born September 9, 1959 in Gloversville, New York) is an American college basketball coach, currently an assistant at Tulsa University. He is the former head coach for the Colgate Raiders men's basketball team of Colgate University. He is a former player at St. Lawrence University. On March 16, 2011, Emmett Davis was released from his contract as head coach of Colgate University. Davis finished the 2010-2011 season with a record of 7-23 overall and 4-10 in the Patriot League. He was replaced by Matt Langel.[1]
